Coconut Shrimps
I tried this was at my uncle’s place – it was an instant hit …
Ingredients:
- Shrimps
- Onion chopped fine
- Ginger paste
- Cumin powder
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric powder
- Bayleaves
- Cumin seeds
- Coconut milk
- Heavy Creme
- Tomato Ketchup
Method:
#1. Marinade Shrimps with Red Chilli + Salt + Turmeric
#2. Heat oil + Add Bayleaves + Cumin seeds
#3. Chopped onions + salt. Fry till brown.
#4. Add the ginger paste + coriander powder (ideally mix it in a bit of water, before adding it). Good time to check salt.
#5. Add the shrimps and cook 5 mins
#6. Add Coconut milk (3/4 cup) and a bit of heavy creme (2Tbsp). Simmer for 5 mins.
#7. (Optional) Add a bit of tomato ketchup (2tsp, mixed in water) for a tangy hint
